I’m Shawn Bochner, the travel advisor behind Travel With Shawn Inc. | Travelmation — and someone who has spent more than half his life helping others. My service background started early as a volunteer firefighter, EMT and lifeguard at age 16, and today I proudly serve as an active Police Sergeant serving the traveling public of NY and NJ. Being a first responder shaped who I am: calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and always focused on helping people. Travel advising became a natural extension of that mindset—another way to guide, support, and create meaningful experiences for others.

I’ve explored 15+ countries across Europe, Canada, Central America, and the Caribbean, and I’m well-versed in European, Caribbean, and overseas travel. I’m also an avid scuba diver who loves the thrill of discovering the world both on land and underwater. Some of my favorite personal and client highlights include crafting family, romantic, and group trips throughout Mexico and the Caribbean—destinations that truly feel like a second home.

My preferred resort partners include Sandals and Beaches, and when it comes to cruising, it’s a close three-way tie between Disney Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, and Royal Caribbean. I’m an expert in beach vacations, quick getaways, and cruise planning and love helping clients find the perfect sailing, island, and / or itinerary.

When I opened my travel business in 2024, I brought with me over 20 years of personal travel experience, which now fuels every itinerary I design. Since then, I’ve completed 150+ bookings and surpassed $450,000 in sales, earning consistent trust from travelers of all ages and backgrounds—including many fellow first responders. I’m also trusted by many local fire departments for their group and training trips, the Nassau County Junior Firefighters Association, as well as by select NYPD sports teams, who use me as their exclusive travel advisor.
